October 2014 marked the beginning of a bold journey for Clickadu. What started as a small ad network with a clear mission has now grown into a multi-format global ad tech platform, delivering over 6 billion impressions daily and reaching more than 3 billion people every month. Over the past 10 years, we’ve seen seismic shifts in the industry, and Clickadu has not only adapted but thrived, becoming a trusted partner for advertisers and publishers worldwide.
In the fall of 2014, Clickadu began its journey in the digital advertising landscape, with popunders as its initial core format. At that time, we were young and driven by a mission: to provide our partners with high-quality traffic solutions. As the programmatic ad spend was on the rise, so were we.
Within a year, Clickadu had already established itself as a leading player in the market, with 30 million monthly impressions at launch. By 2015, we had expanded our reach with the release of the Publisher’s SSP, a game-changing tool that enabled publishers to monetize their traffic in more efficient ways, skyrocketing our impressions to 1.4 billion monthly.
The journey from 2014 to 2024 has been filled with innovation, risk-taking, and relentless improvement. Here are some of the key milestones that have marked our growth:
The introduction of the Advertiser’s SSP was a major turning point for us. It allowed advertisers to have more control over their campaigns, offering real-time data and optimization tools. By the end of 2016, Clickadu was delivering over 3 billion impressions monthly, and we continued to develop technologies like Anti-Adblock systems, ensuring that ads reached their intended audience.
With the release of Campaign Auto-Optimization, advertisers could refine their campaigns in real-time, maximizing performance while minimizing waste. Coupled with IP Capping, this tool significantly improved the user experience, and Clickadu’s monthly impressions reached over 6 billion.
Clickadu has always been a pioneer in delivering innovative ad formats. In 2018, we expanded our offerings by launching four new ad formats, including pre-roll video ads, and further increasing our daily impressions to over 500 million.
2019 saw the introduction of 24/7 Moderation and Push Notifications, providing advertisers with new ways to engage their audience. This year, we broke new ground with over 2 billion daily impressions and extended our reach into more verticals.
Clickadu continued to innovate by introducing InPage Push Ads — a non-intrusive, highly engaging format that helped advertisers reach their audience more effectively without interrupting the user experience. This format alone contributed to 4 billion impressions daily.
Banners are one of the most versatile ad formats, and Clickadu capitalized on this by launching our Banner Ads solution. By 2021, our ad formats had diversified significantly, driving over 4 billion daily impressions.
With the introduction of AI-Based Ad Rotation in 2023, Clickadu has reached a new level of precision in ad delivery. Our AI system dynamically adjusts placements to maximize engagement and performance, further boosting our daily impressions to 6 billion.
